A Boston-based biotech company called Orig3n has launched its new Run DNA Test to give runners the insight they need to reach the finish line faster.
According to the company, the $99 test will now allow individuals to learn about four key categories: Nutrition, Training, Endurance and Recovery associated with running performance.
Featuring 24 genes, the Run DNA Test premiered in May during the annual Alaska Airlines Bay to Breakers event in San Francisco, at the Orig3n Health and Wellness Expo where thousands of participants gave the Run™ DNA Explorer test positive reviews.
The test answers key questions for runners to help them better train, including:
- Are you more likely to be built for speed — or endurance?
- Does your body have a tendency to bulk up — or slim down?
- How quickly might you bounce back after a run?
Run DNA joins Orig3n’s portfolio of direct to consumer DNA tests that also include Nutrition, Fitness and Metabolism tests, among others.
All Orig3n DNA test reports are delivered via a mobile app exclusively on the Apple app store or online to enable easy integration into individuals’ active lifestyles. Find out more at orig3n.com/run.
